WOC at Intelak – New way for flight attendants to make money | WOC

It’s WOCMonday and every Monday we will try to give our users a sneak-peak into WOC; what is new with us, latest updates on the app, what’s in the pipeline etc. And, let’s see if you will like what we have in store for you!

WOC recently took part in an interesting event. Intelak, a travel technology incubator along with the Emirates group, Etisalat and GE organized a week-long bootcamp. In order to crowd source ideas to make travel simple, better, and more exciting.  WOCtheapp was among the top 20 start-ups to be selected to participate in the bootcamp from a total application pool of 500.

And, we came out of it with a new product idea for flight attendants.

About the event

• A series of training and mentorship programs spread across the week
• Working sessions to clearly define the business plans
• A Sharktank where all the teams pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges from the organizing companies.

We all entered the bootcamp with some vague ideas in our heads but during this one week we saw these ideas take more structure. And, by the end of the week we had a great product idea and clear directions on how to take it forward. What more could we have asked for!?!

What’s next for World of crew?

We wanted to share this with you because this week led us to our next app/website. An app which will make the job of regular travelers and especially crew somewhat more fruitful and exciting.

At WOC, we are going to bring in the New year with a new app platform for all you lovely users out there. Boy, could we BE more excited!
